A minor in Technical Writing, English, Language Arts, Foreign Languages, etc. strongly preferred or a strong interest in these areas
Working knowledge of (or willingness to learn) Geographic Information Systems (GIS) strongly preferred
Working knowledge of (or willingness to learn) databases
Working knowledge of (or willingness to learn) Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat
Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) cabled undersea systems
Basic working skills and knowledge of (or willingness to learn) various high level, markup, scripting, etc. languages (Java, Python, XML, SQL, etc)
Experience working with large datasets is a plus, but not required
