Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, engineering or similar field of study.
Strong experience (3-5 years) in Purchasing and exposure to Strategic Sourcing/Commodity Management.
Experience with engineering or technical requirements and BOMs (Bills of Materials).
Proficient in Microsoft Applications including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Prior experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Infor, Oracle, JDE etc.
Expertise in procurement of relevant commodities such as active and passive electronic components, cables, machined parts and/or semiconductors.
The employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to operate a computer keyboard.
The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
