Must be comfortable with attending high risk deliveries, as well as supporting NICU/PICU
High risk delivery experience – intubation of Neonate
Transport Details: 2 call shifts a month with a 2-hour minimum.
These call shifts could include adults; No additional compensation if the transport occurs during your shift.
Transport could be ground or air;
Less experienced RT's will be required to take call, however they will cover the unit while the more experienced therapist accompanies the transport;
Staff will receive orientation for transport equipment, documentation, and procedures;
Additional call is available on a voluntary basis.
7 days maximum time off
2 references required from within the last 12 months

BLS (Basic Life Support)
RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT (National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC))
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT (NBRC))
