Must be capable of working with blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
Must be proficient in the operation of all CNC machining centers, semi-auto, and manual machines.
Must be able to run jobs and edit programs for machining centers and/or automation.
Must be able to setup and run production parts of more complex geometries (including, but not limited to grooves, notches, etc.) and within the allotted setup and run time.
Must be proficient in the operation of Machine Centers in the area including operating multiple machines at once.
Must be able to operate manual and Prototrak lathes, manual machines and grinders.
Must be proficient in machining thermoplastic and metal materials.
High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience
Must have obtained minimum of 36 months of Machine center experience in a production environment including NC programming knowledge, set up, troubleshooting and run.
Must be able to read, write and interpret engineer diagrams
Must possess G-code knowledge and be able to edit CNC Programs for various lathes and mills.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and safety shoes
Ability to work long periods of time in a standing position
Ability to occasionally work in positions requiring sitting and walking.
Ability to occasionally work in positions requiring twisting, stooping, and grasping
Ability to occasionally lift up to 55 pounds without the use of mechanical lifting devices or help from others.
