High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience
Must have attained Greene, Tweed & Co. Toolmaker Level 2 or equivalent, as determined by management.
To bid on this job candidate must have a minimum of 1 year as a Toolmaker Level 1 combined with 4-5 + years relevant machining experience as determined by management.
Two (2) years of the four (4) year apprenticeship program (3 years apprenticeship/1 year Gr 13) can apply as relevant experience.
Must be proficient with operating computers, including searching, saving, and editing files
Demonstrated ability to independently read and interpret production drawings, work instructions, Company documents and other specified requirements essential for performing standard job functions
Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and safety shoes.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without the use of mechanical lifting devices or assistance from others.
Ability to work for long periods of time in standing position.
