Membership in, or willingness to join, the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO.

Minimum of three years of commercial and/or industrial mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry.

Practical work experience in HVAC piping, plumbing, pipefitting, and/or mechanical equipment service.

Practical working experience with light commercial or commercial mechanical equipment.

Mechanical shaft alignment experience using dial indicators.

Experience using vibration equipment to troubleshoot drivelines.

Ability to pass a knowledge examination to assess proficiencies.

Universal EPA refrigerants license, applicable state or local licensing, and a valid driver's license.

Willingness to travel 10% to 20% to support branch customer activities, troubleshooting, installation, and repair.

Experience supporting centrifugal, steam turbine, or open-drive screw chiller service.

Experience with commissioning, aftermarket service, or sales quoting in commercial HVAC environments.

Exposure to quoting recommendations and customer solutions that improve facility efficiency.
