The technical writer will be responsible for creating clear and comprehensive design and test documentation for our cloud, hybrid, and private IT systems.
The candidate will possess a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, enabling them to translate complex technical information into user-friendly documents.
It is essential that the candidate is a US citizen and is able to obtain and maintain a US federal government Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or relevant field; or 6+ years' experience working in the IT and/or Cloud Computing industry as a technical writer required with a high school diploma.
Familiarity with US federal government documentation standards (e.g., NIST guidelines, Shore Installation Process Handbook (SIPH), etc.).
Strong ability to understand and document IT infrastructure, software applications, and cloud/hybrid/private cloud-based technologies.
Strong writing and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
