Bachelor's degree in procurement, supply chain, business, operations or equivalent experience.

2 years' experience in a purchasing, buyer, or material planner role.

Moderate technical understanding of assigned commodities.

Ability or willingness to learn to read engineering blueprints or any relevant technical documents.

Experience in MRP(oracle) system.

APICS seasoned purchaser in related field preferred.

Internship at fortune 500 company manufacturing capital equipment/industrial products in/for agricultural, automotive, or general industries.

Engineer to order environment and low volume/high mix purchasing experience, including MRO and production materials purchasing exp.

Technical purchasing and out-sourcing skills.

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the procurement field.

Ability to research and identify new suppliers.

Project Management experience.

Ability to read engineering prints.

Lean experience or knowledge is a plus.

Proficient computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

$20.00 - $24.85 hourly

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 1st shift

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age

Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future

Must be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English

Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. on occasion

A review of criminal history is necessary

Have at least one (1) year of work experience mixing or blending raw materials and making a product in an industrial batch process

Have at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment (for example: forklifts (stand and sit), pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacu-hoists, drum dollies, conveyor belts, etc.)

Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position

Have at least one (1) year of work experience monitoring the quality of raw materials and/or finished goods

Have at least one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing and/or distribution facility

Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products

Have prior work experience operating tinting or color matching equipment

Have prior work experience repairing spray equipment
