U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)

High School Diploma or equivalent

Capable of reading blueprints

Strong knowledge of optical comparators

Proficiency with using caliper, micrometer, drop indicator, gauges and other standard Quality measuring devices

Strong basic arithmetic skills

Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Standards (GD&T.;)

ERP usage a must. Must have strong basic computer skills.

Experience with ISO9001, AS9100 or ISO13485 Quality Management Systems

College or technical coursework leading to a degree or certificate is perferred

3-5 years manufacturing inspection experience (quality control) preferred (position may be filled at higher or lower grade level based on experience)

5+ years of relevant construction experience

Proven experience in heavy highway and/or asphalt paving operations

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment

Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and project documents

Solid understanding of job costing, scheduling, and project performance metrics

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Valid drivers license

Reliable transportation

Authorized to work in the United States

Must be able to accept out of town work and/or night and occasional weekend work.

Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 50 lb. or more.

Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time as well as lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, walking, reaching, driving, and repetitive motion.

Superintendent experience strongly preferred

Experience with construction management software (e.g. Viewpoint, XBE, etc.) preferred

OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
