High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and work from complex drawings, specifications, layouts, and operating instructions.
Ability to apply shop math, handbook formulas, and machining principles.
Experience using precision measuring instruments.
Ability to perform tool grinding, sharpening, and proper tool selection, including insert grades and coatings.
Basic computer skills.
Must have taken and passed the Parker QCD Basic Shop Course, or be able to complete required training.
Continuously lifting and moving very light weight material (1-5 lbs).
Frequently lifting and moving average weight material (5-50 lbs).
Occasional lifting and moving heavy weight material up to (50 lbs. +) with assistance.
