High School diploma and/or equivalent.

Four years of welding experience; or, Completion of an accredited four-year welder's training program; or, Completion of an accredited two-year welder's training program and two years of welding experience; or, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Skill in the fabrication, joining and repair of a variety of metal objects, equipment, fixtures and structures.

Knowledge of applicable codes.

Knowledge of welding techniques (oxygen-acetylene, electric arc, MIG, TIG, controlled atmosphere, and plasma cutting), tools and equipment.

Knowledge of non-destructive inspection techniques.

Skill in heat treating and thermal spraying.

$31 - $35/hour based on experience (PLUS SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL OF $2.50/HOUR)

Monday - Friday

2:30pm to 12:30am (Second shift)

Must have knowledge of the use of both acetylene and electrical welding equipment, welding standards and trade procedures, processes, and techniques.

Must successfully pass all weld test.

Must be able to read blueprints and other engineering drawings to perform efficiently.

Must be able to read and interrupt technical manuals as applicable.

Formal training in area of specialty.

Attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.

Requires 5-10 years of related experience.

Must have the ability to use hand and power tools and related types of equipment peculiar to the trade.

Welding certification may be required.

A high school diploma or GED equivalent

5 - 10 years experience

Applicants must have current authorization to work in the country in which the position is located to be considered.

Training will be completed on day shift.

2nd shift positions Monday-Friday 4:30pm to 3:00am

Must have minimal high school education.

Should have currently or previously maintained an ASME Section IX certification in GTAW for 316L stainless or be able to demonstrate ability to pass certification during interview weld examination.

Must have ability to ASME certify and weld to 1G-6G position on ½ inch - 6-inch pipe.

Fabrication experience and the ability to work from dimensional drawings, sketches are required.

Five or more years' welding experience in a manufacturing environment.

Simple computer skills required (Excel, Word)

Required to stand for long periods of time

Required to have good balance

Required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls

Required to reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Ability to use various hand tools

Must have good hand and eye coordination

Horizontal manual lathe and or manual machining experience are a plus.

Passing weld qualification tests for the following but is not limited to: GTAW, GTAW-P, Tri-Pulse, SMAW, SAW, PAW, GMAW or FCAW

Ability to perform open root welding in fixed positions.

Ability to work with a variety of exotic materials (i.e.: Aluminum, Carbon Steel, Copper, Stainless Steel, etc.)

Can read and understand blueprints and welding drawings to properly lay out parts.

Can perform math including algebra and basic trigonometry.

Can fully read and understand welding procedures.

Maintain an impeccable attendance record with ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and/or weekends as necessary

A clean disciplinary record are essential.

High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, not required.

Vocational diploma or training in welding a plus not required
