Understanding of the following Mechanical concepts as they are related to autonomous maintenance: mechanical actuators, clutches, brakes, bearings, gears, belts & chain drives, and mechanical couplings.
This understanding must include the relationship of energy, work, and power in relationship to these components of machine mechanics.
Understanding of the following Lubrication concepts as they are related to autonomous maintenance: lubrication classifications, characteristics, additives, bearing lubrication, oils and their applications, general purpose greases, special purpose greases, lubrication systems & methods, automatic lubrication methods, lubricant storage and handling, and lubricant management.
Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written schedules, flow charts, and flow diagrams
Follow standard trouble shooting and root cause analysis methods
Ability to engage in continuous learning activities
Ability to work in structured team environment
