Passing weld qualification tests for the following but is not limited to: GTAW, GTAW-P, Tri-Pulse, SMAW, SAW, PAW, GMAW or FCAW
Ability to perform open root welding in fixed positions.
Ability to work with a variety of exotic materials (i.e.: Aluminum, Carbon Steel, Copper, Stainless Steel, etc.)
Can read and understand blueprints and welding drawings to properly lay out parts.
Can perform math including algebra and basic trigonometry.
Can fully read and understand welding procedures.
Reliability is a hallmark of this role, impeccable attendance, strong professionalism, and a clean disciplinary record are essential.

Four years of welding experience
Completion of an accredited four-year welder's training program
Completion of an accredited two-year welder's training program and two years of welding experience
Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved
Skill in the fabrication, joining and repair of a variety of metal objects, equipment, fixtures and structures.
Knowledge of applicable codes.
