Ability to properly and safely MiG weld, stick weld, and arc gouging required
Must be able to safely MIG, TIG, and stick weld, and arc gouging to include passing of test(s)
Must test all hot oil piping for leaks and repairs as necessary. Repairs would be welding related repairs. Inspection includes the safe use of air hose, pressure regulator, and squirt bottle
Must be able to safely perform gang-welding techniques (do's and don'ts)
Must maintain welding machines by keeping them clean and changing liners in the welding guns
3+ years of experience with heavy equipment production line welding
Must select proper rods or wires to perform the welding job
High School Diploma or GED required
Follows company policies and procedures at all times
Follows proper safety rules and procedures at all times
Must be able to safely weld vertical, flat, and overhead with both MiG and stick
