Must have successfully completed an approved training program as to setting up and operating all equipment in section.

Strong mechanical ability a must.

Requires sufficient knowledge of CNC programmed machinery, Saw Cut and Chamfer machines, Screw machines, and tooling required, to maintain close tolerances and work specifications.

Experience in setting up and maintaining other types of complex mechanical equipment is essential.

Capable of handling heavy weights.

Trade school graduate or any additional training in the trades most beneficial.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience setting up and operating CNC machines such as milling machines, mill-turns and / or lathes in a machine shop environment.

High School Diploma or GED.

Proficient knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments. Instruments should include but not limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, and indicators.

Knowledge of reading drawings and specifications with an understanding of geometric tolerance and dimensions.

Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and other accessories used on various machines.

Must be able to follow written and oral instructions

Must be able to communicate in English (both oral and written) as it relates to the job

Must possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry, and algebra for the purpose of calculating material fabrication.

Willing to run multiple machines independently or in a team environment.

You're fully capable of setting up andoperating3-,4-,and5-Axis mills or mill turns while ensuring exceptional accuracy and efficiency.

Technical/Vocational training desired.

Your experience with Mazak and Matsuura machines and running palletizer lines is a definite advantage.

You'll have extensive experience working with mission-critical aerospace and defense parts where precision is paramount.

You will receive the 20% differential.

You must be able to read blueprints/geometric tolerances

Instrumentation /Gaging skills required.

Must be familiar with machinist tools and hand tools (micrometers, verniers, indicators, scales, dial bore gage)

Must have HS diploma or GED equivalent

Minimum of three years' experience required

U.S. Citizen

Crane and hoisting experience a plus

Concentration in machining would be a plus.
