Must hold a valid Driving License
Ideally some experience of selling capital equipment and associated consumables
A broad familiarity with any of the following industries would be an advantage: Microbiology, Biology, Molecular, Clinical, or Chemistry
Degree in a Life Science, ideally Biology or similar
Familiarity with or strong background selling in a Clinical Diagnostic Lab setting
Alternatively, a candidate with no sales experience but with strong commercial awareness and good technical knowledge of Clinical Diagnostic Lab setting gained as a lab supervisor or technician (or similar)
Must reside within VA/MD/Wash DC and be able to travel frequently on a weekly basis within the assigned Territory
3+ years of consultative sales experience in a complex technical environment
A sales mentality; strongly motivated by targets and the desire to win new business
Fluent in English
