Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, pallet jacks, hand trucks, fixed gauges, jigs, meters, soldering irons, riveters, presses and crimping tools
Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and sound judgement
Must possess knowledge of reading prints, reading schedules and have the ability to build prep parts and assemble parts using variety of hand tools and other related fixtures.
Must be able to use and understand various computer screens to check a part's bin location, flow manufacturing, complete cycle counts, status of material, production orders, release production orders, change due dates, fill out part requisitions, finished good tickets, monitor inventory levels of finished good items, etc. Must be able to fill out non-conforming ticket and process non-conforming material disposition (including deleting components out of inventory in computer system).
Use hand and power tools, pallet jacks, hand trucks, fixed gauges, jigs, meters, soldering irons, microcomputer, fax machines, riveters, and presses.
