ACI / FCON (GDOT Concrete Certification) Field Concrete Certificate
Minimum of 2+ years of civil inspection experience, specifically in roadway, bridge, reinforced concrete, or site civil inspection projects
Demonstrated experience inspecting reinforced concrete construction
Ability to understand and interpret construction plans, specifications, and procedures
Basic math skills, including the ability to perform geometry and trigonometry calculations relevant to construction inspection
Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in a professional field environment
Proficiency or strong comfort with computers and new software platforms such as Procore, Heavy Job, E-Builder, Bentley Synchro, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office Suite, and PDF editing tools
Physical capability to perform field inspections, including standing, walking, climbing, and working in various weather conditions and on active roadways and bridges
High school diploma or GED
