Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Must possess a knowledge and understanding of regulatory mandates for quality control
A thorough knowledge of nuclear medicine physics, anatomy and positioning are essential for a quality exam
The incumbent must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in his or her assigned area
The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs
Must be able to maintain a high standard of imaging
Must be able to help move patients when needed
Must be a graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology/nuclear medicine and/or be registered or registry eligible
Incumbent must adhere to all DEQ regulations
Must be able to coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow
Will participate in performance improvement initiatives

Stands and/or walks continuously throughout shift without a break for up to 4 hours.
May be exposed to chemicals or allergens (such as latex, eggs, nuts, soy, wheat, etc.)
Ability to interpret, understand and follow instructions.
May be exposed to all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, ice and wind) as well as, inside work with variations in heat, cold, dust and humidity.
Ability to move, lift, carry and place merchandise and supplies weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
Ability to visually locate merchandise and other objects, as well as verify information, often in small print.

Continuous repetitive motion with hand(s) and arm(s), such as grasping, gripping and turning.
