Surgical operations are conducted Monday through Friday, with additional night, weekend, and holiday call rotations to ensure continuous coverage.

Central Sterile Technician, Certified

Central Sterile Technician certification

Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to support the proper identification, handling, and processing of surgical instruments.

Experience with sterile processing and aseptic technique, with a strong understanding of proper sterilization practices and surgical instrument handling.

Proficiency with systems used to track instruments, supplies, and inventory efficiently.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

BLS within 30 days of hire

ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.

At least one year of relevant experience preferred, particularly in sterile processing, surgical services, or a healthcare setting emphasizing aseptic technique.

Commission and performance bonuses, when applicable

$18 per hour to $24 per hour

The employee is frequently required to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, ramps, step stools, etc., move self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, including tight and confined spaces, traverse flat and uneven terrain, work in an overhead position and/or reaching, adjust or move objects of 100+ lbs. in all directions, lifting and placing objects of 100+ lbs., communicate with others to exchange information, repeat motions that may include wrists, hands and/or fingers, operate machinery and power tools, operate motor vehicles and/or golf carts, assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned, identify and inspect objects and areas, exposed to outdoor weather elements (wind, precipitation) including low and high temperatures and exposed to hazardous chemicals, and able to work overtime, weekends, night hours (on-call property emergencies).

Must have reliable transportation due to the emergency on-call requirement.
