Night: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM - evening care, overnight rounds, laundry and linens, and getting residents ready for the day. Evenings are when sundowning is most common in memory care, so patience and a calm presence matter

Every other weekend rotation required

Prior experience as a PCA, CNA, caregiver, or in a similar direct-care role

Reliable transportation to and from Clyde, NC

Ability to lift, transfer and assist residents safely (up to 50 lbs)

Dependability - showing up on time for every scheduled shift

Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening as required for North Carolina adult care homes

Meet all state training and registry requirements for personal care aides in an adult care home

Standing, walking, bending and reaching for most of a 12-hour shift; lifting and transferring residents with assistance up to 50 lbs; responding quickly in an emergency.

Current CPR certification (we provide training if you don't have it)

Memory care or dementia care experience

Experience with electronic charting
