2nd Shift CNC Machinist I
Able to run multiple machines at one time
Review and understand blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and set up requirements
Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines
Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications, using precision measuring instruments
May be responsible to operate CMM
Checks for machine readiness to ensure functionality and performance
Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems
Responsible to comply with company requirements to complete essential documentation as required
Assure all policies and procedures are followed and safety precautions are taken to reduce the risk of injury
Maintain a clean work area and assure safe operation of all equipment
Must be available on reasonable notice for unscheduled overtime to meet production schedules
Perform and document Operator Preventive Maintenance operations, as needed
Occasionally, miscellaneous non-recurring duties may be assigned such as packing, shipping, unpacking and sorting, inspection, cleaning, finishing, deburring, etc.
Weekly pay starting at $25.00/hr

High School graduate or equivalent.
Ability to read blueprints.
Knowledge of GD&T.;
Basic knowledge of at least one machining principal required.
Must be available on reasonable notice for unscheduled overtime to meet production schedules.
Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required throughout the workday to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; talk or hear.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to see print in various sizes and formats.
May be required to climb stairs.
Must regularly be able to pull and push up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
