Must be able to use their own vehicle to get from job to job
Five (5) years of experience in the construction, maintenance, and repair of the outside plant (OSP) that supports telecommunications services (Telephone, CATV, and High- Speed Internet)
Ability to read, write and speak the English language
Knowledge of F.O.A, N.E.C and N.E.S. C. for communications for outside plant and construction practice and inside and around buildings.
Ability to read general system layouts from blueprints and system maps.
Ability to accurately measure distances, using tapes or other measuring devices.
Ability to take and produce clear and sharp photographic and video documentation of work performed in the field.
Ability to differentiate between different sizes and colors of wires.
Ability to operate appropriate computer or test equipment associated with position (e.g. signal level meters, ohm meters, etc.)
Ability to work while standing 50-70% of the time.
