Minimum of 3 years of experience in the OEM industry involved in designing, editing, installing, and troubleshooting PLC and motion control software and hardware.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or at least 2 years of vocational training in Electromechanical Systems.
Hands-on experience with PLC-based control systems, including Allen Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, Codesys, and SCL.
Proficiency in controls programming, controls engineering, and working with motion control software and hardware.
Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and sometimes internationally for extended periods, approximately 7580% of the time.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and control diagrams to support installation and troubleshooting.
Strong documentation skills for maintaining accurate machine configurations, service records, and technical reports.
Capability to work independently on customer sites while also coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Commitment to following safety standards, PPE requirements, and customer site protocols.
Experience with aseptic thermoform packaging equipment or similar packaging machinery.
Background in field service or commissioning roles supporting complex industrial or packaging equipment.
Familiarity with SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) procedures.
Experience leading or coordinating field technicians and acting as a site lead on customer projects.
Ability to provide technical input for modernization and upgrade projects related to control systems and electrical components.
Flexibility to adapt to varying customer environments, schedules, and project requirements.
