Swing Monday-Thursday 4:00 pm-2:30 am
Education: Required: High School diploma or GED. Preferred: Associate degree, Machine Tool Technology, or related subject-area; or Trade School Certification in a related discipline or Apprenticeship. Preferred: Five (5) years' experience as a Machinist in a precision machine shop.
Basic computer skills with the ability to operate within a MS Windows environment, using email for communication.
Reasoning Skills: Requires the ability to define complex problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. The ability to interpret a wide range of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form is an on-going requirement.
Usage of Data Collection software and ERP system is required.
Mathematical Skills: Basic Math Skills: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Metric to Standard Conversion, Fractions to Decimals.
Work Environment: The work environment for this position is that of an industrial machine shop/production facility. Employees may experience loud noises, (at varying levels), sharp edges (tooling and material), oil, and coolant throughout the workday.
