The Environmental Lab Tech must have the knowledge and ability to follow aseptic protocol; collect line samples, raw and pasteurized milk samples received and produced daily for testing
Collect allergen rinse water when it's milk to juice day, use ATP swabs for daily sanitation verifications and environmental swab samples on a quarterly basis for micro testing
Collects and preps swabs or finished product samples to ship to our certified lab for micro testing
Conducts and completes daily pre-operational logs
Works and communicates corrective actions to production supervisors to complete
Participates in monthly and yearly internal audits of the production facility
Collects wastewater samples and completes necessary paperwork to comply with regulations
Collects and checks production batch records to verify specifications and traceability
Will keep up with lab inventory supplies
