High school diploma or equivalent and the completion of an AMA-approved Medical Laboratory training program to qualify as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Current TN licensure as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT).
Certification or eligible by ASCP or equivalent
6 months of laboratory training or experience
Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, manual and automated pipettes, and audible alarms.
