This position is full time, 40-hour work week, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Mountain Standard time.

The schedule will be determined by the manager upon hire.

High School Diploma/GED

Direct experience with the ABD/SSI population in 3 of the last 5 years.

4+ years of experience working within the community health setting in a health care role

1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to Data entry and Word processing skills

1+ years of experience in long-term care, home health, hospice, public health or assisted living

1+ years of experience in electronic charting

1+ years of experience knowledge of the resources available, culture, and values in the community

Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish

Must be willing to work on-site at the following location: 1145 Westmoreland Dr. El Paso, TX 79925

Must reside in El Paso, TX

Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.

2+ years of field-based experience

1+ year of experience with knowledge of the resources available, culture, and values in the community

Experience working in Managed Care, Behavioral Health, and Substance Abuse

Experience in women's and or pediatric health care setting

Knowledge of TX Medicaid

Ability to obtain a Community Health Worker Certification within 6 months of being hired or a current Community Health Worker Certification

8AM - 5PM Monday-Friday

Full Time

Bachelor's degree in Child Life or a related field is required

Under the supervision of a Certified Child Life Specialist, must have completed a 600-hour child life internship

Minimum of 2 years paid experience as a Certified Child Life Specialist

Must maintain Child Life Certification

BLS certification is required

Master's degree in a related field is preferred

Bilingual – English/Spanish is preferred

The hourly pay for this role will range from $24.00 to $43.00 per hour based on full-time employment.

Must possess one of the following: * High School Diploma/GED (or higher) AND 5+ years of experience working with ABD/SSI population within a clinical health care role * Associate's degree with 3+ years of clinical experience * Unrestricted LPN/LVN license in the state of TX with 3+ years of clinical experience * CHW certification with 3+ years of clinical experience

Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Access to reliable transportation

The ability to travel up to 75% of the time in this 'assigned area' to visit Medicaid members in their homes and/or other settings, including community centers, hospitals, nursing facilities or providers' offices

High speed internet in place of residence
