Proficiency in using mobile/desktop tools to document and support claims both in the field and remotely

Physical agility to allow for : walking; bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, stooping, frequent lifting, carrying, unfolding, and climbing a ladder; ability to utilizing appropriate equipment in accordance with safety guidelines to traverse roofs at various heights and pitches for inspection of both residential and commercial structures; ability to crawl in tight spaces to gather information needed during the adjustment of a claim.

A valid driver's license is required

Employees must successfully complete all required training, including applicable proficiency, licensing exam(s), Motor Vehicle Recrd (MVR) checks, and background checks required of various state(s).

May be required to complete Rope and Harness Safety Training

Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Risk Management, Insurance, Business, Construction Management or a similar discipline

Customer service experience (e.g., assisting customers, handling inquiries/concerns professionally, communicating clearly and empathetically), demonstrating transferable skills that support client interactions in a Claims environment

Understanding of property insurance concepts, including coverage fundamentals and general claim handling practices

Baseline knowledge of residential and commercial building construction and building components/materials

Familiarity with water mitigation principles and inspection processes

Working knowledge of Xactimate and XactContents
