Certified Surgical Technologist

High School Diploma or equivalent is required

Completion of the Surgical Technology program or an accredited LVN/LPN program is required

BLS required

Certification of Surgical Technologist from The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting within 180 days of graduation or LVN/LPN License required

Ability to proficiently scrub 3 specialty areas including but not limited to: Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neurology, Titanium Rib, Robotics, etc. is highly preferred.

2 or more years of experience preferred

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program

One year of experience as a Surgical Technician

Surgical Technician Certification by The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting* * Surgical Technician Certification by the National Center for Competency Testing* * United States Military or United States Public Health Service Surgical Technology Program* * _*Only one of these certifications must be obtained_

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification * _Must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date_

Five years of related experience in the field of surgical technology

Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program
