3+ years of Human Resources experience in a Generalist, HR Coordinator, or similar role.

Working knowledge of employee relations, benefits administration, onboarding, and employment law.

Experience maintaining confidential employee information and handling sensitive situations professionally.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

HR experience within a nonprofit, community-based, or mission-driven organization.

PHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR certification.

Experience supporting employee engagement and retention initiatives.

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Experience with high complexity testing is essential

Experience in clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis required

Experience managing teams of 25 or more employees

Bachelors Degree in medical laboratory Technology, Biological Science, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience

CHS (Certified Histocompatibility Specialist) and/or CHT (Certified Histocompatibility Technologist) by the American Board of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ABHI) and/or Board of Certification for Medical Technologist (MT) or * Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or * Histotechnologist (HTL) or * Cytotechnologist (CT) by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or * American Medical Technologists (AMT)

Four (4) years of experience in laboratory operations for HLA

Including two (2) years in a supervisory capacity

Hospital experience is preferred

Microbiology a plus

Preferably in an acute care hospital setting

Six (6) years is preferred

Total Compensation Package up to $127,000 annually.
