Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, industrial engineering, safety management or similar program.
Minimum of two years' experience as an EHS professional in a manufacturing environment preferably in metals manufacturing
Detailed knowledge of relevant regulations such as OSHA, EPA, ANSI, and Colorado Department of Health and Environment.
Ability to lead and motivate teams to reach a common goal.
Proficiency in Microsoft programs including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Strong leadership and training abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High level of attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency when responding to situations.
Demonstrated ability to readily adapt to a changing environment
Capable of working the days/hours necessary to support a facility that operates 24/7.
Ability to spend 75% of time on the plant floor including walking, standing in varying temperatures as well as climbing, bending and stooping.
