BS degree in Engineering or a related technical field plus a minimum of 4 years related experience
Each higher-level related degree, i.e., master's degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of related experience
Two years of related experience may be substituted for each year of education
Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education
Detailed knowledge of building structures and components including steel, cast-in-place concrete, precast and tilt-up concrete, masonry, and light gauge systems
Working knowledge of all aspects of facility design (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, architectural)
Working knowledge of building codes
Proficient in the use of personal computer software such as: Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD and Revit
Demonstrated ability to manage work schedule and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to manage a regular and predictable work schedule
Proven history of implementing safe workplace practices
A security clearance or access with Polygraph is not required to be eligible for this position. However, the applicant must be willing and eligible for submission, depending on program requirements, after an offer is accepted and must be able to maintain the applicable clearance/access
