Mechanical process piping or MEP background, preferably within semiconductor or high‑tech construction environments.
At least 5 years of experience in estimating for high‑tech or commercial construction projects, with a focus on mechanical and process piping systems.
Proven experience as an estimator, cost consultant, or quantity surveyor in construction, particularly on heavy process piping scopes.
Strong proficiency in Excel, with advanced skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume commercial construction setting.
Ability to perform accurate quantity takeoffs using project plans, specifications, and conceptual information.
Demonstrated experience supporting project budgets and cost estimation for mechanical and piping systems.
Experience working within project management frameworks and supporting project delivery for complex construction projects.
Intermediate knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook.
Experience in semiconductor construction estimating and familiarity with high‑tech facility requirements.
Knowledge of IPD (Integrated Project Delivery) and lean construction methodology and tools, or strong interest in learning and applying these approaches.
Familiarity with BlueBeam or 3D modeling tools for takeoffs and scope reviews.
Knowledge of On Screen Takeoff estimating software is a plus.
Knowledge of Success Estimating Software is a plus.
Background in mechanical, MEP, or process engineering or construction disciplines.
Experience in quantity surveying and cost consulting on large, complex projects.
