High school diploma or GED
One year of industrial manufacturing or quality inspection experience
Must be able to function in an independent role
Must be a self-starter and willingness to accept ownership of tasks
Safety focused, need to understand and follow safety procedures and take responsibility for own safety
Basic computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Lotus Notes)
Detail oriented
Ability to prioritize work and coordinate multiple tasks
Basic knowledge of statistical tools such as averages, standard deviations and run-charts
Basic communication skills
Customer focused
Familiarity with corrective action - 8D process
Familiarity with Lean and problem solving events, as well as Lean and Problem solving methodology training
Familiarity with Plant 3 valve design, assembly, testing
