A diploma from a technical college in industrial maintenance. Three years of service in the field of mechanical maintenance (Pipe Fitting, Welding, Millwright, Vibration, or Machinist). Three years of military service in the field of mechanical maintenance (Pipe Fitting, Welding, Millwright, Vibration, or Machinist) or completed a comparable certified Maintenance Apprentice Program.

Mechanical aptitude & knowledge test.

Basic skills math and physics tests.

Basic mechanical knowledge placement tests package.

Ability to read and understand technical correspondence, memos, instructions, and reports.

Pulp & Paper industry experience preferred.

$32.00 / Hour

6-8% shift differential paid for applicable hours worked

Night Shift

Ability to work holidays and weekends per business needs

1-2 years' experience with SAP maintenance systems including storeroom inventory

Background with preventive maintenance systems in manufacturing

Must have excellent all-around maintenance system skills and experience in areas such as industrial electricity, mechanical power transmission and fluid piping systems

Must have good computer skills including computerized maintenance management systems, working knowledge of MS Office Application and PLCs (Plant Automation Systems)

Must have experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment

Must have good troubleshooting

Ability to work holidays and weekends per business needs

Candidates must possess strong English language skills

Proficiency in English is essential

Prefer a background of 2 years of successful current experience in the direct line supervision of maintenance employees

Experience with plant support equipment a plus (air compressor, pumps, chillers, boilers)
