Typically requires a bachelors in engineering or a related technical field as well as two or more years of manufacturing engineering experience.
May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.

Must have a general understanding of engineering concepts, principles, and theory with technical experience demonstrating the application of those concepts while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
Must have a detailed understanding of CNC machining and how to troubleshoot problems when they occur.
Must understand work holding as well as material movement while machining complex aerospace structures.
Must have a good understanding of GD&T.
Must be able to effectively use MS Office, specifically Excel and Project applications, to execute and track work activities.
Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment and organize work assignments to meet established timetables.
