One year of recent experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) required

Valid license when needed in compliance with any state regulations

The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language

Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills

Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend

Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment

Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally

Must possess visual acuity

National certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by ASCP or equivalent such as AMT, AAB, HEW certifications

Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

$3350 per week.

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Monday-Sunday schedule.

Weekends on an as-needed basis.

Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day.

Travel experience is required.

Experience with Epic is required with 1 month within the last 24 months (2 years).

OB/GYN experience to include fetal anatomy scans (routine and detailed), follow-up OB, BPP, UMB and MCA dopplers, 1st trimester, pelvic, sonohystogram, and HyCoSy.

ARDMS registered with OB/GYN credential.

Any employment gaps greater than 90 days must be explained.

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

BLS (Basic Life Support)

RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS))

14 days maximum time off

Reliable transportation is strongly recommended

A personal or rental vehicle is recommended.

Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November-April.
