High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret internal and external communications to perform job duties.
Excellent mechanical aptitude required.
Ability to determine “root cause” of problem and determine corrective action.
Proficient knowledge of production materials, quality methods, and color standards are necessary.
Computer prepress/preflight knowledge is preferred. Advanced computer skills needed.
Must occasionally be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Effective interpersonal skills needed.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
One to five years as a printing press operator – Lithographic experience preferred.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
