Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, ideally Computer Science or Engineering, and at least 5 years of software engineering experience for Level 3; or a master's degree and 3 years of experience; or a PhD. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree with an additional 4 years of relevant work.

The likely salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000.

Familiarity with industry-standard writing styles or government-specific guidelines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to quickly understand and translate technical information and concepts into clear documentation.

Experience developing and maintaining POA&Ms; or similar project plans.

Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying gaps or inconsistencies in documentation.

Familiarity with Agile or ITIL frameworks, as related to technical writing .
