Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint)
2+ years of data center or mission critical facilities (example: hospital, military facility, public safety facility, etc.), or 2+ years of relevant work in a data center or other critical environment experience
Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities
2+ years of experience developing design documentation (plans, specifications, etc.) for construction and/or permitting.
2+ years of working experience with fiber optic components, cabling, and interconnect products, technologies, and standards

Requires the ability to go on-site to Sentara sites to perform troubleshooting, installation, repair, and replacement of physical networking equipment.
Valid driver's license required - Ability to operate a motor vehicle and drive distances of greater than 100 miles/3 - 4 hours as required
Must be able to work in active construction sites with appropriate PPE
Must be able to perform basic physical tasks such as lifting 25 - 50lbs, occasional ladder use, reading, nimbleness of hands for typing and writing
