Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering field

10+ years of manufacturing experience in the design and development of heat exchangers or related HVAC systems and components

3+ years of engineering management experience

Expert knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III (Classes 1, 2, and 3) and Section VIII as applied to custom product design

Strong background in mechanical component and assembly design and strength of materials

Experience with MRP systems

Working knowledge of SolidWorks

Strong written and verbal technical communication skills

Virginia Professional Engineer (PE) license

Experience with Made2Manage MRP

SolidWorks EPDM experience

Experience with nuclear quality programs, such as NQA-1 or 10 CFR 50 Appendix B

Experience with ASME Section IX welding and brazing procedure qualification

Experience managing AHRI or other third-party product certifications

Experience in an engineered-to-order manufacturing environment
