Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and manufacturing equipment reliability practices.

Ability to analyze manufacturing data and translate findings into practical process improvements.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field required.

Hands-on experience working directly with manufacturing equipment, production processes, maintenance teams, and plant operations.

Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer.

Subject to standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting of objects up to 50 pounds; may occasionally be exposed to dangerous machinery, extreme weather conditions, and extreme noise when working at plant locations.

Ability to travel as needed to support plant requirements.

Approximately 4+ years of engineering experience within a plastics manufacturing environment preferred.

Experience with ERP, CMMS, CAD, or manufacturing data systems is beneficial.

Experience within plastics manufacturing, plastics extrusion, pipe manufacturing, polymer processing, or a similar continuous manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

Pay: $36.77

The starting hourly rate for this position in Virginia (US-VA) is expected to be $36.77 per hour.

Shop math, gage methodology, table survey methods and basic inspection techniques.

Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

Candidates must meet **one** of the following * Have completed OR is enrolled in one of the following programs: Central Virginia Community College, Danville Community College, or ATDM **OR** * Five (5) years of Quality Control experience

Ability to pass qualification examination (if required) in selected areas.

Must obtain Workkeys score required for specific job.

Must be able to wear composite toe safety shoes and safety glasses.

Pass eye test for vision and color blindness.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
