3rd Shift Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30pm-6:00am

Training Schedule: 1st shift, Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm (approx. 2-4 weeks)

Arm/hand steadiness

Manual Dexterity

Perform work in various physical positions including standing, kneeling, bending, and reaching

Close vision, distant vision, color vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and hand-eye coordination.

High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred

3 to 5 years' previous experience in an industrial environment preferred.

Pay Range: $31.30 - $39.58

Will often require hours beyond a standard work week with flexible schedule availability to support production/operations.

Must have at least 5 years of experience in rigging, preferably in a marine or shipyard environment; or have graduated from a registered apprenticeship program relevant to the trade.

Must be able to operate overhead cranes.

Must have previous experience operating a forklift and forklift qualified.

Must be able to climb and have no fears of elevated heights.

Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and operate in confined spaces.

Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

U.S. Citizenship Required.

Must be able to lift, carry and transport heavy equipment and boxes. The exact weight requirements will be determined by the specific job, but no less than 20 lbs.

Must be physically agile to perform tasks in naval ships. Able to work on and climb ladders, work in extreme temperature environments, aboard ships, in shipyards, under industrial conditions and in confined spaces, including enter and moving through manholes.

Employee is required to operate trucks, forklifts & man-lifts.

Frequent use of respirator.

Flexible schedule availability to support production/operations

Previous technical training highly preferred.

Relevant certifications in rigging or related fields such as Rigger Level 1.

Ability to obtain DBIDS preferred.
