American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)/Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Certification in Adult Echocardiography (RDCS or RCS respectively), Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS), or CCI Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) certification.

AHA BLS Certification

Registry eligible candidates must obtain ARDMS/CCI credential within one year of hire date.

Individuals cross-trained in echocardiography or working to fulfill clinical experience to meet pre-requisites for credentialing must obtain certification within two years from the start of training.

$24.73 - $35.56 per hour (Hiring Range)

Minimum 1 year as a Surgical Technologist required

High School Diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology or Nursing Program; or Graduate of a Military Training Program in Surgical Technology; or Formal education/training may be substituted for individuals with 3+ years of prior experience

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification

One (1) year experience as a Surgical Technician

CVOR experience strongly preferred, including cardiac (CABG, valves, TAVR, ECMO, Impella) and vascular procedures (EVAR, TCAR)

CVOR experience in the following areas strongly preferred: Cardiac- Knowledge of Coronary Artery Bypass, Aoritc and Mitral Valve, minimally invasive heart valve surgery, ECMO, Balloon Pump insertion, circulatory arrest, aortic dissection, lead placement and removal, TAVR, Impella placement, familiar with various types of wire and catheters used for interventional cases. Vascular- Knowledge of various vascular standard OR cases, and Hybrid vascular cases inlcuding EVAR and TCAR.

Current dental hygienist license in NC

An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)

Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation

CPR Certification

Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation.

Prolonged periods sitting and standing

Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
