Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in software quality assurance and testing, with demonstrated experience managing DT&E; or IV&V; teams in federal government IT environments.
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing testing standards, methods, and procedures across multi program test environments spanning functional, integration, regression, and system integration testing.
Demonstrated experience managing defect identification, tracking, and reporting activities, including defect escape rate analysis and corrective action development.
Proficiency with test management platforms (Jira with Zephyr, HP ALM, or equivalent) for test plan management, test case tracking, defect management, and test reporting.
Experience leading test automation initiatives, including automation tool selection, automation library development, and progressive automation rate improvement.
Demonstrated experience managing IV&V; activities, including independent review of vendor delivered test artifacts and reporting of findings to Government stakeholders.
Ability to apply risk based test prioritization across a multi program test scope, balancing coverage, resource constraints, and program delivery cadences.
Demonstrated experience selecting, developing, and evaluating QA and test engineering personnel.
