Are pursuing a PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering Systems Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
Proven internship experience or possess extensive classroom project work in a subject matter in any of the following areas: guidance, inertial navigation, modern/adaptive control, classical control, optimization; electromagnetic wave propagation, RF antennas, optics, signal and image processing, radar, programming/coding; dynamics, programming/coding, algorithms, optimization; hardware testing, embedded systems, sensor testing artificial intelligence and software development.
Are skilled in or have knowledge of coding practices in Matlab/Simulink, C++, Python, or other languages
Are able to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a Secret level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field
3-5+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning or AI systems
Eligibility to work within government tenants (GCC, GCCH) and with FEDRAMP compliant solutions
Certifications in MS Azure, Dev Ops, Analytics, and AI
Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
Experience with machine learning model development, including supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning techniques
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure) and GPU-accelerated computing
Experience integrating AI models with enterprise systems, APIs, or edge devices
Experience with M365 Copilot deployment and Copilot Studio
Experience using Microsoft's Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, etc.)
Hands-on experience with ML Ops tools (ML flow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines)
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices
Strong problem-solving mindset and curiosity
Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into technical solutions
Comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative environments
Clear communication with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
Understanding of AI governance, model monitoring, and responsible AI practices
