Polysomnographic Technologist, Registered

Possess knowledge of sleep disorders, electrical safety, with the skill to utilize computers for patient documentation and data gathering for patient care.

Working in North Dakota (ND), must be licensed as a RRT or RPSGT.

Obtain and maintain mandatory continuing education units (CEU) each year to maintain licensure and/or registry.

A drug screen

Pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment

Graduate of an accredited program in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology, Respiratory Technology or other medical specialty preferred.

Minimum of two years of related work experience in Sleep Disorders field preferred.

If RRT, required to obtain RPSGT or Sleep Disorder Specialty (RRT-SDS) credential within 2 years of starting in role or must be enrolled in one of the following: 1\. Must be enrolled in or have completed the A-STEP Online Self Study Modules. Non-registered technologists and technicians must complete A-STEP Online Self Study Modules within two years of enrollment. OR 2\. Must be enrolled in or have completed training in polysomnography in a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or a Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) program with the polysomnography option.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 60 days of employment.

$2070 per week.

7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The schedule is Monday-Friday and is split between two techs: 3 days one week and 2 days the next week, totaling 50 hours per pay period.

No call.

No weekend shifts.

No holiday shifts.

Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

2 years of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

Experience with Cerner is required.

Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Flu vaccination required after submission.

Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Ability to adhere to our volume of scheduled and add-on patients.

Must take a full 6 months off from any Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society location as well.

Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
