7+ years of applicable experience in equipment engineering within a production or manufacturing environment.
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment such as furnaces, web or powder handling equipment, mixers, resistance welders, and laminators.
Demonstrated experience with equipment system ownership in a production or manufacturing setting.
Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system-level issues under production pressure.
Ability to define, track, and interpret equipment performance metrics, including OEE, to drive data-informed decisions.
Proficiency in creating and maintaining CAD designs and drawings for equipment and hardware solutions.
Proven ability to translate production and downtime data into clear problem statements and structured improvement projects.
Strong root-cause analysis skills and a system-level mindset when responding to production events.
Experience leading equipment-focused improvement projects involving mechanical, tooling, fixturing, and station layout changes.
Familiarity with optimizing equipment parameters and station configurations in coordination with production and quality teams.
Experience supporting equipment installation, commissioning, and ramp-up, including participation in design reviews, FATs, and SATs.
