Previous Veterinary Assistant experience required.
Comfortable handling and restraining dogs and cats.
Strong patient care skills
Knowledge of basic procedures for receiving and assisting with veterinary patients and requesting laboratory testing.
Knowledge of the use, care, and storage of common veterinary equipment and materials.
Understanding of basic cleaning, disinfection, and infection-control practices.
Some weekends and holidays will be required.
